Knock, announce yourself and wait before you enter. Leave the door open while you work.
Housekeeping tipAlways knock, even if the room should be empty.
3 · Strip
Remove used linen and towels, empty bins and open windows or curtains.
Housekeeping tipCheck the linen for guest belongings before it goes in the bag.
4 · Bed
Make the bed with fresh linen and neat envelope corners.
Housekeeping tipWith practice, you can make a bed in five to seven minutes.
5 · Bathroom
Clean the toilet, basin, bath or shower and mirrors, and replace towels and supplies.
Housekeeping tipUse a separate cloth for the toilet.
6 · Surfaces
Dust surfaces and restock guest supplies and complimentary items.
Housekeeping tipWork top to bottom, so dust falls onto areas you have not cleaned yet.
