Depending on the level, household staff learn to:

  • Choose and use cleaning products safely

  • Clean and care for all household equipment

  • Handle, wash and care for garments

  • Care for children and pets

  • Greet and host guests, and set a table

  • Keep stock and cleaning checklists

  • Manage their time and end-of-shift duties

  • Keep the home safe and secure

Is this a cooking course?

No. Home Creations is training for household staff. It includes some cooking, but it covers the whole home: cleaning, laundry, childcare, pets, hosting and more.

Which level should we choose?

Basic suits new staff. Intermediate and Advanced add nanny, hosting, drinks and butler skills. Executive is for senior household staff.

What certificate do I get?

Participants who meet Injongo's attendance and course-completion requirements receive an Injongo certificate of completion. This course does not award SAQA credits or a registered qualification.

Where is the training?

In Jeffreys Bay, Knysna, George, Plettenberg Bay, Oudtshoorn, Cape St Francis and Mossel Bay, or on site at your workplace for employer groups.
